I HAVE AN ANSWER

I have had all of these symptoms for about 15 years...
1. Nausea
2. Stomach Cramps
3. Sweating
4. Passing Out (Fainting)
5. Diarehea
6. Feel like I am about to DIE
and I think I finally found the answer to all of this...(after several colonoscopies, Xrays, endoscopies, CT scans...every test under the son...
I am having an ALLERGIC REACTION...my body is allergic to VEGETABLE OIL...maybe in your case it might be another food...that is ok...the point is that if your body is reacting this way and EVERY doctor has NO IDEA what is wrong, that is probably just because you are having a reaction to the food you ate...For whatever reason MY body...YOUR body can NOT handle it...I was reading on FOOD ALLERGIES, and it mentions that it can have an affect on your GUT/INTESTINES/DIGESTIVE TRACT...When your body is having an "EPISODE" your body is throwing out HISTAMINES and it makes your body go CRAZY!!! So as crazy as it may sound, you may need an ANTIHISTAMINE like BENDADRYL!!!!!!!! I always thought Benedryl is for a runny nose and for itchy eyes and stuff...but benedryl can work as an ANTIHISTAMINE to STOP your body from going crazy. When I get sick and my stomach hurts so bad, my blood presure drops and I have actually FAINTED several times!!! Benedryl may be the answer...I hope. look into it...it doesn't hurt...

I recently read about Diverticulitis. Has anyone with the symptoms we have been sharing been diagnosed with this?  The symptoms seem to be adding up. Please let me know.

Me too!!!    I've had these episodes for as long as I can remember. They come out of no where, and it's just like everyone has been stating: stomach cramps, immediate fever where my bodies sweats and I feel light headed, weak, and yes like you're gonna die! It's AWEFUL and SCARY.  I defecate, and then I almost always wind up on the bathroom floor -- where it's cool, until my body cools down and I feel mobile again.  This has happened twice in the passed two months, which is unusual because it's maybe once a year or once every few years.  I am now online looking for others who have experienced this and what it could possibly be???
I was under the impression that it was/is food related for sure. It makes sense that my body would heat up to fight something off and kill it, then releases it from the body. That's how our amazing bodies work; however, I am very mindful about what i eat, and still can't place if it's an allergic reaction to a food-- like someone else mentioned on here.                          I was reading that washing our hands, keeping counters disinfected and so forth will help.  I do this a lot already. Even a bit excessive I'd say with the bleach, but I'm afraid of having these episodes so If I can bleach something to kill any bacteria I will. That was helpful this morning laying naked on my bathroom floors knowing the floor was very clean :-). something positive to help with the misery at that moment.  I'm 44 now,  very healthy and active, yet I get these awful episodes.

I get almost all if these feelings, cramping like I'm going to have awful diarrhea, and Its like there us nothing u can do to make it better-sometimes you just sit there on the toilet, and nothing comes to make you feel better, and I pray; it feels like the end for me.  I get this every month in the third day of my period, every month.  I actually just had it last night, and again this morning, and I still don't feel right.  My eyes feel like they were almost pushed out of my sockets, and it makes me think my heart feels week when I go through this awful pain.  I don't know what is worse?!? These shockingly painful diarrhea bouts, or a full blown tooth ache!!

My friends, I have experienced this for the last 20 yrs+. A couple nights ago was the last time. Horrible constant pain, sweating like a pig, and then diarrea and gas! Man, I thought I was going to pass out, vomit, you name it. For years, I have had this problem, sometimes once a week, sometimes, twice a month, and sometimes it may be well for months, and suddenly it reappears! I once had a colonoscopy and plenty other studies with only a positive diagnosis of lactose intolerance. Well I have been thinking of getting another colo etc at 48 yrs old. Hope this helps

I WAS TOLD WHEN this happened to me the 1st time in 07 that I fainted~this was the only time I passed all the way oout. That day I strained to move along the bowl movent like this person did. Cuz you know sometimes that's what will calm the cramps down. A doctor told me when I strained it was too hard and it dropped the heartrate this is why the cold sweats.. years later I asked another doc..he says ot id common in women &thinks it has something to do with a nerve.  I was recoving at the time from low platets~ not related ~ anyhow look into the nerve thing cuz that's why I don't rember what he said exaxtly. He said lay dowm after..he stressed it.  Here's what I do now. You will be ******** and feeling like that for a few sessions. I take tylenol or ibuprophen asap and I resist straining. As for the scary feelin with much practice you can calm your self down thru it. I hold on to something. And I just stay on the crapper. Lol no other way to say it! Sorry. I have turned sideways, made a pillow out of a towel and rested my head already. Somehow I feel safer thru that feeling. I scraped my nose on my trash can the first time cuz I was all the way out~ had a cherry for weeks.. I fear falling is only reason I brace myself w something. But I think the mind over matter concept works. I noticed that when I don't strain I hardly ever sweat. This is a good sign yo heart rate hasn't droopped. This can give a confident feelin u ain't gonna die.  Hope this helps

I had a similar experience (for the first time) two nights ago, horrible stomach pain, sweating, dizziness (I did not faint), and very strong diarrhea.  I was in pain the following day, with constant diarrhea, when I drank water or other liquids.  I ate homemade lasagna for two days before (for dinner, and lunch the next day), and felt constipated for a few days.  I think that my body can’t digest cheese (I know that it can’t digest milk, but occasional ice cream and a piece of cheese was never a problem).  Clearly this much cheese (and there was a lot in this lasagna), was too much.  I am seeing an acupuncturist later today to see if they have a cure.  I imagine for me, I will cut out all dairy products out of my diet and hope that his awful and scary experience will never return.  I will post again if my acupuncturist has some words of wisdom.

what he says is true except for the part about taking an allergy medicine.

i have ulcerative colitis and celiac's. you need SERIOUS medication to put your colon into remission with colitis (your body thinks your large intestine is a foreign invader like the gentleman originally posted). over the counter medication does not treat, but disguises. if you suspect what he has posted to be your answer, seek out a gastroenterologist for proper diagnosis.

It's a really good idea to keep a food journal. Some bad reactions to things will show up very quickly, but others can take a week or two, and a food journal is very helpful for seeing those connections.

Every day, write down your symptoms, what you ate, and if you've added something new.In addition to allowing you to see connections between foods and reactions, the food journal can also provide you with a way to see your progress. You didn't get sick over night and it will take time for you to heal. The process can also be two steps forward and one step back. A food journal can help you track the slow improvements you make over time and don't notice from day to day, and can be a good tool for keeping yourself on track.

I am experiencing the same symptoms as all of you.  Last episode was this morning 5:30am while taking a shower.  I managed to finish my shower and headed to the toilet.  The pain was horrendous.  I had what seemed to be a normal BM.  Then I felt it coming.  The pain, the gasping shortness of breath, and the arms/hands/feet/shins tingling. I felt the faintness coming on so I called out to my husband as I make myself head to the bathroom floor now when I feel them coming on.  When I have these SPELLS (as I call them), he has always been there for me. I have not passed out to my knowledge yet, but I really feel like I am on deaths bed.  It is so scary!  What was so unusual this time was that as my arms/hands/feet/shins where tingling the were drawing inward.  I could not open my hands, straighten out my wrists or straighten out my arms (they were hurting so bad).  My feet were drawing downward toward the floor as I lay there on my back on the bathroom floor.  My husband thought I was having a seizure.  I could talk to him and open my eyes when he told me.  He rubbed cold towels on me until I started coming out of it (30 minutes later).  When the tingling started to subside, my hands gradually opened back up and I could straighten my wrists and arms back out.  That is when he had to cover me up with blankets there on the bathroom floor.  I started freezing and shaking like a leaf.  After I warmed up, I had to go to the toilet. That's when the diarrhea hit.  After my bowels emptied out, I felt so much better.  Still having some stomach queasiness, but I slept about all day.  I was weak as water.  Has anybody else experienced the tingling and drawing of the hands and feet? Please let me know!!

I did eat a Cool Wrap from Chick-fil-a last night.

Hi Everyone...I have been going through this for about 9 years now, severe cramps, dizzy, getting hot. The first time it happened was at night fast asleep, the pain in my stomach woke me up, I got up to head to the bathroom, only to pass out in the hallway, I dont know how long I was out, when I woke up pain shot through me, I had to go to bathroom, I was so weak, I crawled into the bathroom, the only thing I could think of at that moment was to splash cold water all over me so I dont pass out again,,Finally I was able to get up onto the toilet and it was like someone turned on a faucet....scared me to death...after it was over I was so weak and tired, it took a good 2 days to recover. Now that I have had more, It usually helps to just lay  in bed and let most of the pain go, then I really feel the need I go to the bathroom, I always soak a wash cloth dripping wet with cold water, and squeeze the water down my neck and back, and hold it against my face, I still get to the feeling that I am going to pass out, but not as bad. I went to Mont for Thanksgiving, we were staying in my sisters fifth wheel, had to use my moms house to go to the bathroom, an hour after I laid down I started to get the pain and cramps, I laid there to long, I got up to put my shoes on, I was very lethargic, crossing the yard, I was walking like I was drunk, I made into the house and ran right into the fridge, kinda bounced me into the bathroom...lol.......I was so exhausted and lethargic, i dumped a glass of water all over me cause I knew I was going down....finally the gush came, after my blood pressure dropped through the floor....when done, i didnt dare going back to the trailer, cause I knew it would hit again in a few minutes, and it did..........it is two days later, and I am still recovering...I am 45 years old female, pretty healthy and wanting answers.....

Yeah, that makes sense really.  I've recently been having the same episodes over the past year.  No cause has been found yet, but I've always thought it was a build up to an allergic reaction from something.  Only thing is I've been keeping a Food Diary to try and link it but can't see a pattern.  I suppose it could be a small ingredient within whatever I'm eating.

Thanks for the advice there.  I'll definately be trying an antihistamine next time I feel one coming on
