I am 42 yrs old and I missed my period and rushed to the hospital for food poisoning

Hi, I am 42 yrs old, I missed my period by 2 days, and on the weekend I was rushed to the hospital for food poisoning, my white blood cell count is high, and I feel better 2 days after the food poisoning. So I am wondering if I could be pregnant. I know I am old and I know my changes are very low, and I am in a place in my life where I don't want this to happen. I have looked into lyme disease, and any blood diseases assosiated with high wbc. I have been feeling nauseous for the last month but I have been on champix to quite smoking, I have stoped smoking, but since the food poisoning I stoped champix, don't feel like smoking at all, I hate it. I am on cymbalta for fibromyalgia and extroin for thyroid. I have thought I might be post menopausal, but I am not too sure, have had no signs associated with that, and from what I know my mom started her menopause at 50 yrs old. So if anyone has any idea what might be going on please let me know.
