I don't know what to do

Hello everyone, here my situation.  I know it is a bit long, but please read becuause I really need help :(

I found a lump below by left clavicle about three months ago (fixed, hard, painless).  I went to the doctor right when I found it and still do not have a diagnosis.  It seems like they don't even care.

The first doctor I went to ordered an x-ray and blood work. Everything came back normal but there is a very obvious lump so I asked for a CT scan.  They ordered a CT scan of my neck and left clavicle.  Nothing was mentioned in the report about the lump!!  They only talked about slightly swollen nodes in my neck.  The whole reason the scanned my clavicle in the first place was to look at the lump but nothing was said about it...  my primary doctor just brushed it off and didn't do anything further.

Meanwhile I moved to another state so had to get a new doctor.  He did care and did more tests, all normal.  I got an ultra sound which said the lump was a soft tissue mass.  He then referred my to a surgeon to get a biopsy. I waited a month for a biopsy consultation.

A few minutes after I got into the exam room the doctor said that it looks like a lump on my bone in the ct scan (which of course the report didn't say because this area was ignored) and that she would have her radiologist look at it and the would call me back that day.  I got NO answered about getting a biopsy or anything... and did NOT get a call back.... still!!  I have called a few times and they keep saying they will leave a message with the doc but so far I have heard nothing.

Has anyone experienced this kind of treatment before?  What should I do?  I have had this very scary lump for three months now....

Hello,
The lump sounds like a swollen lymph node or a soft tissue tumor.Had it been a bone growth then it would have come obvious on x-ray and CT.Doctors cannot ignore a serious looking bone growth.I think that you should get a MRI of the area and definitely a FNAC/biopsy of the lump to know exactly what is causing it.

Soft nodes are most likely infection or inflammation, firm but rubbery nodes could be lymphoma and rock hard nodes are more likely from some other type of metastatic cancer not lymphoma. So a biopsy is needed to confirm the diagnosis.

I hope that helps. Please do keep me posted. Kind Regards.

The only machine capable of providing diagnostic information is a "3T" MRI.  There are several kinds of MRI. A "3T is the most modern and definitive.

How did the biopsy come out?

Most times these growths are benign.
