Hi All
I have been sufferring from an CHRONIC undiagnosed condition from past 2 years
It started after few exposures with CSW as just a sore throat,and it became worse after my FESS and tonsillectomy surgery
Below are the symptoms i have/had
1. Ongoing Sore throat
2. Ongoing Sinus infections
3. had Swollen and painful lymph node behind the knees ,under armpits for 1 year or more
4.Now have swollen and painful lymph node behind the ear
5.Recurrent Low grade Fevers
6.Fatigue
7. Had a bout of Jaundice 6 months back
6.Folliculitus
7.Rash on palm every few months over past 2 years
6.Mouth ulcers inside the wall of cheeks and tongue and gums
7.Ongoing thin white ridges on tongue sides
8. Muscle and joint pain
I have tested the below tests
1.HIV -ve ( 9 tests over past 2 years-18 months post last exposure)
2.VRDL & TPHA -ve(5 tests over past 2 years-18 months post last exposure)
3.HBsAg -ve ( same as above)
4. HEPC Antibody -ve( tested before the jaundice bout)
5.HSV-1 (postive) & HSV2(-ve)
6. CT scans for sinuses showed polyps
7.Blood Sugar (Normal)
8.LFT after Jaundice Recovery(increase in protiens and LDH),dint retest after that
9.RA -ve
10.Chest X Ray Normal
11.Malaria (-ve)
12.Typhoid (-ve)
Somebody please help me,My wife is preganant and we are expecting a baby soon, i can only pray to god that whatever i have is NOT communicable to my wife and my unborn
I dont want them to suffer my deeds
Please help me out here

I know how you feel and it is difficult to deal with this illness. Some of the symptoms I am able to ignore, like oral OHL, but others I cannot I don't know if we all have the same cause for our problems, but I do know that I too have had several negative test panels run, thus far, without much of an idea what the cause is. I have not had all the tests ran that I have read in some of the other posts and journals, so I will try that and repeat a few of the others. I suspect mycoplasma but until I can get a test ran I will hope you all get answers soon too. Hang in there!

Naveea, this CSW you were involved with...what were the details of the encounter? Was it unprotected vaginal intercourse, or did you use a condom? Oral?
Like I mentioned before, I have similar symptoms. Not all, but some. Google 'dysbiosis' and see if those symptoms are linked to yours. They are most of the symptoms that I'm experiencing. It is usually caused by a parasite or bacterial infection. I did a stool analysis at a lab and just waiting for the results. Hopefully they find something so I can get rid of this. I would advise you to do the same. Hope you find answers soon and get treated. God bless.

It sounds sort of like a form of Lichen. It causes white spots inside the mouth, skin sores on the palms, on the legs, back, wrists, legs or ankles. See a dermatologist.

We are all sick and before you give up why u didn't replay my post as we have same symptoms , joined the group or said anything ,, do u just wanna set and stay in pain crying ? its hard enough for us so lots do something

Throat swab only says whether you have a bacterial infection, otherwise its negative

Yes they can,,,,i never did it because docs told they were not swollen.. but it was painful and felt swollen.. only lymph which hiurts sometime is behind the knee..

Yes, some of them are canker sores ,,some are just small bumps which are of same size and have stayed and some are fleshy bumps which come and go
7. Can you describe the thin white ridges on your tongue? Mild case of thrush maybe?
Its not thrush because i cant scrap it off, its like OHL... its on sides of my tongue my centre tongue is ok

Hey, Naveea. Sorry to hear you're going through so many symptoms without any answers. I, too, am in somewhat the same boat as you. I don't have the same symptoms as you, but some are similar, and it all started after reveiving oral sex from a stranger. Can I ask, this CSW...did you penetrate her vaginally w/o a condom?
I'm by no means a doctor, but I have a few questions that maybe you can ponder and come up with something from them. I'll just go off the list of your numbered symptoms:
1. Is there no swab test they can do to find out where this sore throat is coming from?
3. and 4. Can they do a lymph node biopsy?
6. Can you describe the mouth ulers? Are they canker sores?
7. Can you describe the thin white ridges on your tongue? Mild case of thrush maybe?
Just trying to compare symptoms and circumstances with you. You can check out my thread I just started "undiagnosed viral infection please help!!" Like I said, I don't have all of your symptoms, but I do have a fungal inection inside my mouth (basically just a white paste; not full-blown thrush). Sometimes it's there; other times you can't even see it. I wouldn't really describe it as 'ridges on the outside of my tongue though". Anyway, something to think about getting checked out. And yea, I've had tender lymph nodes in my armpits and groin for 3 months now. Showed them to the doc, and he says they're only slightly swollen so come back in a few weeks if they're not gone and we can do a biopsy on them. Are yours swollen, tender, or both? How big are they? Mine are about the size of a pea, so barely noticeable unless you feel for them or I wear tight jeans.
Anyways, just thought I could throw my 2 cents out there and maybe you'll pick up on something I said and it will help you figure something out. Please also do the same by reading over my thread and telling me what you think. Best of luck and God bless. I will be watching this thread.

am sorry for that brother ,, same as here am not diagnosed too and now we should try to figure something else than HIV or other known STD since our illness i think we passed same stations searching for an answer STD’s , EBV , CMV believing tomorrow we are going to get bitter but its not coming and i dont know where did you reach beyond that i got some theories that am going to test maybe one of them will be ..
were was the CSW from ? it might make a difference and might not cause all those ******* work with same people that transfer disease from one to another ..
the theories after talking with an infection diseases doctor in USA,Europe were the most about Mycoplasma Spp that couple of them are so bad and could be the X factor in our hell and they could be transfer sexually..
the other factor might be Lyme or lyme co infection (tick borne diseases) like ( Brucella, Bartonella, Babesiosis, Bartonella Spp, Rickesttia Spp ,Coxiella burnetii,Ehrlichiosis (HME and HGA))
Some of those illneses could be transfer sexually in rare cases and other are not even when some doctor belive they do but its not tottaly proved those pathgones goes systmeic in human body lletting Herpes viruses reactivate and both start changing patient life to hell but the good thing to know that with a long term like a year or less you could be cure as the information i collected says..
finally i would like to know where did you reach on researching of ur illness and what doctor said if they have any idea,, believe we are not alone and together with other people we can sy do something reaching the media building a web site or any other way even if we should start a community to collect money to start our own research with big private infection lab but we should not give up ,, for a fact there are some people in asia "china exactly " in big number with the same symptoms started a community and they have this website https://sites.google.com/site/newhivaidslikeviruschina/ government tested for known viruses and found nothing and you can read the last update of private labs they saying they found a microbe and it could be the reason ,,

unfortunately medicine seems to be a lot behind when it comes to infective diseases and immunological problems.
try to consult an infectivologist in a large university hospital, someone who will take care of your case.

I have tested in 5 different labs,, and my wife tested hiv negative and vdrl negative 3 months back with Rapid test kit...
By Skin lesions,, i get folliculitus on my upper arm every week...
The symptoms seem to lead to Triponema Pallidum although you don't refer of any skin ulcers? there are occasionally false negatives but I don't know whether you can have 5 consecutive false negatives... your wife could pass it on to the baby.
Have you tried Penicillin? for long enough?
Have you been seen and tested only by the same doctors and lab?
You could consult a University hospital for your problem.

Go to a immunologist or if possible get a comprehensive checkup at AIIMS if you know anyone there.
