I need answers can you help?

Good day, I'm 30 yrs of age and i notice a few problems with myself. Anyways I wanted to ask if its normal to feel aches and pains  with fever all the time? Reason why i'm asking because i have been experiencing aches and pains with fever for 5 months straight on and off, i am constantly exhausted all the time i have minor headache once in a while, i went to talk to our local health center but they let me take home Tylenol or Morton, to me that's all they can think of is just give out Tylenol or Morton they never bother even doing anything not even a checkup, in order for us to see a doctor we go through nurses and they give recommendations to the doctor if they need to get seen by doctors. And i am so tired of this feeling of being exhausted and aches and pains with fever, i really want to find out why am i like this all the time. Thank you for your time

Hello~I am so sorry you have been dealing with these issues for such a long time.

From your description, I am led to think it could be "Chronic Fatigue Syndrome"  With CFS, you can run a low-grade fever, and be tired all the time with the minor headache and other aches.

I would suggest start with taking a good, organic, high potency multi-vitamin and B complex,  to this, add the herb "echnacea" and "Propolis" This two herbs are great infection fighters and help supports the immune system, I suspect you have a comprised immune system as well, and the CFS takes advantage of this.

I also suggest seeing another doctor and insist on a complete blood count and SMAC. Also, have a thyroid panel blood panel run.

I hope you get some relief soon. God bless You.

Stephy, chances are that if you  do get to see a doctor, you won't see much of an improvement.
It would likely involve some symptom management medication, which OK for the short term, but it does nothing to address the underlying issues.

The intermittent fever for over 5 months, points to an underlying infectious condition, which your immune system has not been able to eradicate.

Blood tests can detect active infections at the time the blood is drawn, but there are pathogens which can evade detection hiding deep in the tissues, even from the immune system, by enveloping themselves with the host's own cellular membrane!
Some patients are simply seronegative, meaning that they may have all the clinical presentation of a certain condition, yet diagnostic blood tests return negative results.

In a diagnosed viral condition, drugs have little effect after it has replicated.in the body.

In a diagnosed.bacterial infection, antibiotics must be the right ones for the particular infection and still they may not be effective to eradicate the bacteria.

Parasitic and fungal infectious conditions maybe as complicated or worse to diagnose and treat.

The best option we have as patients, is to strengthen our immune systems as much as possible, by optimizing our nutritional intake (it would be tough for you where you live), enhance it with targeted supplementation, reduce stress levels, improve sleep quality, engage in physical activity according to our capability each day and so on.

I would personally suggest upping your intake of antioxidants and natural anti-inflammatories, vitamin D3
(must be taken with Vitamin K2 and magnesium)
quality omega-3s and coconut oil which is one of the top
natural "functional" foods with anti-fungal/viral/parasitic/
microbial/inflammatory properties !!!
I take about 3-4 tablespoons daily. I use it in cooking or added. Male 5'9", 170 Lbs.
Therapeutic dose is about 4-6 tablespoons daily.

The above with a low carb alkaline diet would probably help with your fatigue and pain symptoms and also give you more energy.

The concern is that the availability of fresh fruits and vegetables in Kugluktuk  NWT or rather Nunavut is limited and expensive!

You can take extra vitamins and other supplements to make up the difference, but they cannot replicate nature and all the synergistic nutrition whole food offers.

Learn as much as you can about nutritional approaches
to improve your immune system, since I can only post
limited information here.

You can also do Dr Barnes Basal Temperature test, but only when you not running a fever. Please do search for this and follow the instructions to the "T", as it will  help you rule out hypothyroidism on your own!
Not a medical diagnostic Test used nowadays, but it might be more accurate than the newer flawed medical
thyroid tests!

Finally it will serve you well to find out if you have any iron or other deficiencies, which might have to do with your symptoms.

My comments are not intended to replace medical advice.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Best wishes,
Niko
