I need help now

by Natura, Nov 05, 2009 08:46PM
I have had a very big lack in motivation and the ability to force myself for seven years and it is really getting in the way I am going to be eighteen soon and I am worried that if i don't get this fixed I wont be able to get good grades or graduate. As it is I am on thin ice. When I try to force myself I get minor seizure like symptoms and my stress level goes way up above average even though I meditate on a regular basis I get small scale sicknesses due to my immunity going down also it seems to be getting worse as time progresses. I have lost motivation for leisure activities as well which especially gets me worried. I went to several doctors including therapists and it has them all stumped.

I do have a medical condition, Pan Hypopituitaryism and I also have ADHD and take various medicine as well as one to try to at least subdue the affects of my unknown problem but  it dosen't seem to work

Have they done a dynamic MRI of your pituitary, with and without contrast?  It sounds like you are suffering from anxiety and depression.  They should try to help with your endocrine hormonal levels, because it sounds like they are not optimum to me from what you are describing.

Well I do get blood tests to check my hormonal levels but a brain scan may be in order because I did go through puberty and it started when my problem started so maybe my changing brain is to blame

I thought it could be a neurotransmitter problem

But I could be wrong
