Impact injury?

I am no way medically minded but I am investigating an issue for my son he was admitted to hospital and was diagnosed as having tonsillitis the hospital were not told that my son had been assaulted and thrust into a parked vehicle I want to know and have advice on whether
your tonsils become inflamed due to an  impact injury to the mid torso area with some possible internal organ damage maybe to the spleen this also resulting in high fever lasting several days

The tonsillitis symptoms came about a day after the incident my son was taken to the hospital with a very high temperature having to have his bedding changed every two hours for the first day he was kept in the hospital
around four to five days he was complaining of abdominal pain it was not his or the hospitals fault that they were not informed about the assault. He was taken by people he didn't know and may not of known about the assault.

Hello, what a horrible ordeal for your son to have gone through. I think that the hospital should be informed as to exactly what happened prior to his being admitted. I am not aware of someone getting tonsillitis from an impact to the mid torso.
