Hi,

How are you?
You may need antibiotics to clear the infection. Please consult a dermatologist.
Meanwhile please keep the area clean and apply Neosporin powder and salt water compresses.
Take care!

It sounds like the infection has spread to the lymph nodes near your jawline.
One thing that will help is hot compresses to the area.  Wring out a thick wash cloth or a dish towel with hot water, and apply for ten to 20 minutes, as often during the day as you can.  Freshen the compress when it cools.
Hot compresses will do alot to heal infections.
There is also a chance that you are reacting to the metal in the earrings.
Some people have a nickel allergy, and can't wear earrings unless the post is 14K.

Wishing you the best,
Carol
