Is it flu

Ive never had flu but I have the symptoms like nausea, cold hands, my body aches all over but I dont have a cold. No runny nose, sore throat, or coughing. Ive had something a little like this 5yrs ago and was told it was a virus.

Anyone had similar symptoms that can give me an idea?

Thanks

Thanks for your response, I took your advice with the fluids and rest I also took ibuprofen which eased my aching back and 'sore skin' although I was sick that night by the end of the following day I was feeling a lot better.

Many Thanks

Hello,

Without examaintion confirmation of a diagnosis is tough but the symptoms are suggestive of a viral infection. Viral infections cannot be treated with antibiotics and adequate rest, proper diet and hydration are the mainstay of treatment. If symptoms worsen then specific antiviral drugs amy be needed.

If the symptoms persist then pls get it evaluated from a physician.
Hope it helps.Take care and pls do keep me posted in case you have any additional doubts.Kind regards.
