Is stress the reason I had seizures and now pain in my left arm?

Back in december of last year I was going through alot and decided to seek help from my doctor who prescribed me antidepressants. A few days later I started to have fits. I was fully conscious at the time. My body would shake unconcontrolably. It would go tense then ease really quickly and go tense again. Sometimes just in my legs but other times all of my body lasting a few minutes. I went back to my doctor and they told me to stop taking the antidepressants which I did, although the fits went on for another week or so. After that they stopped and I thought everything was ok. Until a few months later in march. My boyfriend was diagnosed with ms and I was under alot of strain and I started having the fits again. This time they were worse than the ones in December,  more full body ones, lasting longer. At one point I also had a really sharp pain in my left foot and blurred vision. I went to the doctors and was referred to the hospital. They did some blood tests and a chest xray and said I was fine and that the fits were stress related. The fits eased off and eventually stopped a few days later. No more fits have occurred since then but I am now having pains in my left arm. Usually worsening in the evening. I really just need to figure out if there is anything that might have been overlooked or if anyone has had a similar experience.  Is this all stress or could it be something else.
