Is this Carnal Tunnel Syndrome? Or just small thing ?

I use keyboard almost  8 hours and past few day i rest my left arm on a box facing down while typing. Now i have Numbness on my left wrist and halfway up the arm, especially my thumb and index fingers.
My wrist feels weak , i can't hold a bag for too long now. Also feel kinda cold.  By wearing a wrist support from pharmacy, Will that help for a while??
Or is it too much because it's not that painful?

Is this Carnal Tunnel Syndrome?

Press the backs of your hands firmly together with your fingers pointing downward. If you feel what seems to be an electrical shock in or around your wrist, then you probably have carpal tunnel syndrome. Wearing the wrist brace at night might give your wrist some 'rest,' but try changing the way you use that hand on the keyboard. Take frequent breaks from typing and move your wrists around. If the pain gets more severe, you may have to see an orthopedist. If the doctor suggests surgery, ask about physical therapy before doing surgery. I hope you get better soon.
