Itchy and painful Anus and vagina what could it be?

So I've experienced almost an unbarable itch in the anal area once a year the past 3 years and it usually goes away within a few days with no medication or anything. This year the itch has been here for 5 days and there has been no real improvement. What's different this time is that there is a rash that has spread to my hand and knee and now there is a prickly pain near my butthole and it won't go away. My mom has dismissed it and just told me to take some benedryl. It had been working to relieve the itch but isn't working too much today. My vaginal area has been experiencing the itch too just not as bad

My first guess is pinworms. They tend to become extra active during the new and full moons, and the itch is like no other.   My second guess is perhaps you made the area raw from itching and opened the skin to getting now a yeast or fungal infection, as it would be the only cause of a rash that spreads, not the pinworms.

If it's pinworms, May God have mercy on you.   They are nearly impossible to rid yourself of.   You can take over the counter meds or prescription, but they don't seem to help.   humaworm is another option
