If your period has a normal bleed, then it is highly unlikely that you are NOT pregnant.
If your period is showing like a spot of pink, or a little brown show and nothing more, that could indicate a possible pregnancy, threatened abortion, or a hormonal imbalance. Being ill, and not eating enough foods that could cause anaemia, can also affect your periods - they can become light or heavy or stop altogether.
Some women have polycystic ovaries and that can affect periods - you could not have a period for months for example, but not be pregnant.
Keep a written record of your periods and how they are and also how you feel about 10 days running up to your period.
Some women get premenstrual syndrome (PMS) also sometimes referred to as PMT (premenstrual tension). With this you will experience mood swings, water retention and food cravings. Having a good well balanced diet with lots of fresh fruit and vegetables, cutting out junk foods, processed foods and those containing lots of sugar as well as cutting out fizzy drinks and alcohol can help to lessen these symptoms.
Period has come today. last was 26 dec 2014. 2 days late.
is it possible pregnancy even if the period comes as usual?
What the results show is that you had an infection.
You were prescribed with an antibiotic to treat this. And if you have no symptoms like a cloudy urine or pain when you pee, dark urine that could be signs of blood, then it is highly likely that the antibiotic worked in killing off the bacteria that was causing the infection. Be aware that if you do not drink enough fluids and water and become dehydrated, your urine can also look dark in colour - so make sure that you drink plenty of fluids (some coloured drinks and beetroot can also colour your urine) and especially water. 2 litres of water is usually recommended to be drunk in a day - this is around 5 large glasses. If you sweat or work out you would need to drink a bit more.
Some doctors advise for a urine specimen to be handed in to be examined a few days after you finish the antibiotic. If your doctor did not tell you to do this and you have no symptoms that I mentioned in the paragraph above, then it is highly likely you are fine.
If you do get symptoms like you had before, then do remember to make an appointment to see a doctor and get checked out. If you cannot make an appointment, then your doctors surgery may be able to take your urine sample to be checked out.
Has your period come now? Always keep a written diary of your monthly periods. This will help you to work out when your next period is roughly due to come.
Best wishes

If there is light bleeding, then there is still an infection and you should make an appointment to see your doctor to get your urine examined. A urinary infection can be from anywhere from the kidneys, ureter, bladder, bladder or urethra. So do get checked out.
Continue with drinking lots of fluids.
It would be too early to do a pregnancy test.
thanks again. Today is 5 day, light bleeding was there when urinating but I feel more comfortable after this.
and I am also worrying that I am pregnant or not.
As the everything seems normal, it is likely that the infection may have cleared up. You can still take a mid morning urine sample to be checked out by the doctor who will be able to tell by the urine dip stick test whether the urinary infection is now clear.
It is important to drink lots of fluids and especially water every day. 2 litres is usually recommended, more if you sweat a lot.
Thanks for your valuable suggestion. it really helps me out.
Today is 4 day and everything gets normal. No pain, No discomfort.
However, I will visit a doctor as you suggested this Saturday/Sunday...Mean time I will have more water and let me see if pain % discomfort are happening again.
It is highly unlikely that you are pregnant.
With the symptoms that you describe you may have Cystitis. Cystitis is an infection in the bladder and this is very common after having sex.
Because in women the urethra is shorter than in men, bacteria can easily get pushed up into the urinary tract.
Make an appointment to see your doctor to get your urine checked. A simple urine dip stick test will indicate if you do have Cystitis or any other urinary infection. The doctor will prescribe an antibiotic if this is required.
In the meantime, drink plenty of fluids and especially water. 2-3 litres in the day. This will help to flush out any bacteria. To help relieve the discomfort and pain when urinating, you can drink a glass of water with a teaspoonful of Bicarbonate of Soda. You can purchase this from most supermarkets (in the bakery section) and from the pharmacy. You can drink a solution of this 3 times with an hour in between each drink. This will help to neutralise the acidic urine that is causing the symptoms.
To avoid getting Cystitis in the future, go to the bathroom to empty your bladder after having sex and wash as soon as you can. When you wipe yourself when using the toilet, wipe from front to back. Sometimes bacteria can enter the urinary tract from bacteria that is in the anal area.
With the right treatment and drinking lots of water, your symptoms should settle in a couple of days. Make sure that you finish the course of medication that the doctor prescribes, even if you do feel better.
