Light-headedness and nausea

Light-headedness and nausea

I am a 21 year old 320 lbs male with high blood pressure.
Recently I have been haveing trouble staying asleepfor more tnan 3  hours at a time.
When I wake up I sometimes have numbness in the back of my head. Sometimes even my forehead and ears.
Durring the day I am constantly light headed and nauseus as long as I am standing, sometimes even tired even though I had plenty of sleep.
Now sometimes the lightheadedness goes away for a little while after I exercise yet it sometimes gets worse durring sexual activity.

I also have what is known as sleep apnea and I use a v pap machine so I was thinking maybe I could have some kind of sinus infection due to a dirty filter.
I am going to go to the doctor eventually but since I don't have insurance the only place that will take me can't get me in until the 30th.
My questions are: What is the most likley problem? And Will I be safe to wait that long to go to the docs?

I think this probably has something to do with your blood pressure, A quick drop in pressure can cause the lightheadedness and nausea. Are you on any meds currently? If not I recommend spending the money and getting a further eval. from your doctor. It's your body and without a proper tune up from time to time you won't be able to pay those bills! So make a smaller payment on the bills and get to the dr., you're too young and have so much time ahead of you!

Not sure what happened to what I just typed a moment ago but here goes again!

I just re-read your original post and realized you did say you have an appt. on the 30th. You should be ok til then. I would keep a "diary" so to speak of the symptoms you have, what activity you may be doing and wether you're sitting or standing, time of day etc. Take it with you on the 30th.
Have you ever been known to have allergies of any sort? I would say yeppers the dirty filter on the c-pap is probably giving your sinuses some troubles.
Start writing you're "diary" and writing any questions you want to ask and take it all with you, md appts. are precious minutes so take advantage and get everything you can answered in that visit.
I also wanted to say that if you contact you're local hospitals social worker he/she may be able to give you information on some sort of insurance wether it be medi-caid or free-care.
Good Luck.
