Low white blood cell count

Hi my question is can you have a lowered white blood cell count from 1 binge night of drinking. I am not a person who drinks regularly but when I do drink I don't stop. This past Sat I have no idea how much i had to drink. I was very hung over the next day then the next day and still sick on the 3rd day by day 4 I decided to go into the ER. They found the following: Neutrophil 1.5, lemphocyte 1.1 leukocyte 3.0 monocyte0.1. So most of my white blood cells were low. Could this have anything to do with the white blood cells trying to repairs damage to the liver? I don't have any virus or cold.

No.   Either you have a raging infection of some sort, rare immunosuppressed or a false low reading on the hematology analyzer.

One episode of binge drinking doesn't bring your white blood cell count down. I would have this investigated further by your family physician. In the meantime, since 80% of your immune system is in your GI tract, I would loo into healing that while you are waiting for the results of further tests. www.gapsdiet.com will help guide you through this process. Don't be fooled by the title of the book. There is a second book that is being written by the author titled: Gut and Phsyiology Syndrome and it will follow the same protocol outlined in the first book. My son had low white blood cell counts when we first started the diet and they are now normal six months later. He was found to have Lyme Disease but the diet cured his immune system and he was then able to fight the disease within three weeks. His next set of blood work showed he was negative for Lyme Disease. I am not saying you have Lyme Disease, nor anything else as serious, but please do take this as a warning sign and take action now to prevent further serious illness.
