Lower R. Side Pain in 11 YR Girl... Tons of Tests done.... 7 wks and counting

My eleven yr old daughter come on with sudden lower r side pain seven weeks ago...tomorrow.  We have Had Bone Scans, Blood work, Ultrasounds, x-rays, upper GI with lower bowel follow through.... the only thing that has shown any abnormalities is a slightly elevated SED Rate and Slightly elevated White Blood Count..both of which returned to normal.  She is in severe pain and can not function like the typical kid... she can not set her leg down and put wt. on it, it hurts to bad and she will collapse.  She can not rotate her leg because this too causes even more pain.  She is in constant pain.. even in her sleep!  We have done so many tests and seen so many Dr.'s all of which are stumped.  If anyone has any suggestions.....Please let me know.  I am at a complete loss of what to do for her... any suggestions to make her more compfy for the time being would be great as well.  She is currently on some heavy pain meds... which I am not fond of her constant use of these and if the pain does not reside, she will have to have other ways of dealing with the pain.

I am going through a situation with my own daughter at this time. Many symtoms, no diagnois! I know how utterly frustrating and angry it can make you. I,too, am inclined to look at an ovary problem.Does she have her period yet? Also,I'm sure they have looked at the appendix on ultrasound tests, however,I had been having severe pain in my lower right side off and on for 2 years. It would come and go.Sometimes to the point of doubling me over, sick to my stomach, simply not being able to function. I agreed to have lapro.surgery in hopes my dr. would find only scar tissue from my previous hystorectomy. He did find scar tissue but also, with my concent, removed my appendix as well to save me any possible future surgeries. When the lab results came back on the appendix,it was abnormal and the source of my pain all along.I,too, had many blood tests and ultrasounds, with everything being 'normal'. Two months later,I now am pain free and feeling my self again. Your daughter's problem may not be this at all,but I thought I'd share this with you and tell you I will keep you both in my prayers.

Hi I see she had stomach testing and blood work, what about the pain for her leg?  have they done any ct/bone/mri on her leg to see if anything is wrong there.  If not please get those testing done too.  Sometimes real bad pain like in the leg can travel and make you feel sick.  example my sister broker her arm and the pain was so intense it was making her throwup.  If she is in that much pain in her leg maybe there is a connection so please look into that.  Best wishes to you.

I am sorry to hear about what you & your daughter are both going through.

Question... does your daughter have any other symptoms, even symptoms that may not seem relevent ? Also, is your daughter tall and have long limbs ?
