Lower back Heat

This is not a question as much as a response to others with similar issues.  I have severe hot flashes in my lower back that are so hot that I have to stand, put something cool on it or at the very least lean forward away fromt the chair, care seat, etc.  The difference for me is that it is predominately on my right side, although it is sometimes my whole back.  My wife can physically feel that my back is hot.  Because I was worried for awhile that it was all in my head.  I have never been diagnosed as having thyroid disease but I have had hormone imbalance, hypertension and heart palpitations.  Does anyone have any answers, though sympathizers are welcome.

I agree with em. It sounds as if it is your nerves. Your back is probably out of alignment. I have severe back problems and nerve issues and I get hot and cold spots, it was explained to me that it was the nerves way of compensating. I also think that hormonal imbalances affect how our body takes in vitamins etc and you may want to see if taking Complex B vitamins helps. B vitamins help nerves. Best wishes, Sissie

the sciatic nerve perhaps.  the htn and palpitations are probably unrelated and symptoms of another issue
