Lower back and Testicular pain

Hi all. Would love any help and sorry if Im not following forum protocol or anything,  never posted here before.

I'm wanting to get to a doctor but working Monday to Friday makes it difficult, so help in the mean time would be appreciated.

I've been experiencing some discomfort in my lower right back. Not so much spinal but feels more muscular or internal. This was aggravated on the weekend when doing some lifting, and was crippling for a day. Now its back to a sharp pain on the right side.

In the past few days though, I've also developed a sharp pain in my right testicle. I can't feel any lumps and it doesn't hurt worse when pressured.

There are no other noticable symptoms, nor an event that triggered it. Web MD suggests a broken Collar Bone which I know is definitely not the case! Obviously I know anything like this could be quite serious so will seek help when possible but any experience would be great.

Absolutely, I know that growing up I have had recurrent testicle infections (epididymitis) but it just turned out to be benign cysts on my epididymus. Have you self examined mate? Feel any lumps? If not it it more likely your testicular pain is a referral pain from a pulled muscle or hernia. Again have you had a prostate exam? Better safe than sorry on that one.

Definitely male, missed the spot where I chose gender.

Thanks for that, no pain pressing on the appendix area.

My main concern is the testicular pain. Not exactly an area to mess around with!

Sound more muscular than anything if you had such a response to heat. But, just to rule out its not your appendix try putting two fingers over it pressing down firmly for 10 seconds, than releasing quickly, if you experience extreme pain there is a chance it could be Appendicitis. Locate Appendix 2 inches down from belly button and about 4-5 inches to the right (over the "sex cut" muscle area. Are you a male of a female? If you are Male, when was the last time you had a prostate exam? Also I would ask your GP to check for a Hernia.

Still have my appendix. No other symptoms such as urinating blood etc. Medication hasnt helped although a heat pack seemed to help greatly.

Do you have an appendix still? Are you urinating blood? Is the pain relieved by NSAIDS like aMotrin or Advil, or even Heat?
