Lump above ankle

I have a lump approximately 1 inch big about 2 inches above my inner anklebone. It only hurts when i touch it, or put any pressure on it. It feels like a soft knob when I touch it. Has been there for 1 year now, has not changed in size. Should I consult with a Doctor? I do stand all day on my feet at work and have kind a bruised ankle from veins and varicose veins on that leg.

Yes, you should get it checked out. No, you shouldn't be too worried. Many, many things cause lumps in the body, and most often it isn't worrisome.

Your biggest concern would be changes, and it hasn't. So, it could just be a cyst or another varicose vein. Get it checked to make sure it won't interfere with your work and life.
