Hi
Welcome to the MedHelp forum!
A lump in the throat could be a cyst, an abscess, a swollen lymphnode or an area of localized inflammation due to post nasal drip or reflux of gastric contents. Since you drink, possibility of reflux are high.
Please consult an ENT and get this investigated.
It is difficult to comment beyond this at this stage.  Please let me know if there is any thing else and do keep me posted. Take care!

It could be a number of things.  Have you had it assessed by a physician yet?
