Lumps behind the ear on on head

I have recently found a lump behind each ear. They appeared pratically overnight One is larger than the other one and are very sore to touch. I also have found I have one on top of my head which only small but again sore. I've been having problems with my teeth and have an abcess I need to get sorted, and thought maybe these lumps could be connected to that, but I'm not really sure. Any idea's on what they could be?

Hi
Welcome to the MedHelp forum!
The lumps behind ear which developed over night could be swollen lymph nodes, abscess, hair follicle infection or cysts. This can be due to ear infection, TMJ, scalp infection, dandruff etc.
Do discuss this with your doctor and get yourself examined. Take care!

Hi...you need to get the abcess taken care of...what you are experiencing is swollen lymph nodes....the lymph nodes swell because they are trying to fight an infection...your dentist will give you antibiotics as infections in the mouth can be serious due to the amount of germs in the mouth (sometimes bacteria from your mouth can go to your heart and cause an infection there called endocarditis)---please get this taken care of asap..feel better and God Bless!
