Lumps under breasts

My 15 year old daughter developed some lumps under her left breast about 2 months ago.It started with one now there are several, they have also spread to under her right breast. It is not on the breast itself, it is right under it,like right below the crease, feels like they are sitting on top of her rib cage. Took her to the doctor, they did an ultrasound, but couldnt get good pictures. So they sent her for an MRI. The doctor seems to think they are just fatty tissue, but why would they spread and why would they be different sizes. We haven't gotten the results back yet from her MRI. But I am reallly worried and concerned. She also has recently been having some cramps and pain in her abdomen.I'm not sure if that is related to the lumps. She didn't start her menstraul cycle until she was almost 14. So she has had it for over a year. But she has only had the cycle like 3 times maybe 4 times in the whole year. I thought once you start getting it, you get it every month. The doctor says that is normal but I'm not buying it..Could anyone give me any answers. Thank you.

Hi
Welcome to the MedHelp forum!
Multiple lumps under the breast in such a young girl could in all probability be fatty tissue. The other possibility is neurofibroma (collection of nerve and fibrous tissue). These are also harmless swellings. The possibility of cancer in such a young age is very less.
It is difficult to comment beyond this at this stage. Please let me know if there is any thing else and do keep me posted. Take care!
