Lymph nodes are aching...need an answer...

I keep posting and am trying everything I can to find an answer.  I hope someone out there can help.  My lymph node under my arm aches daily and sometimes my groin but is better after a nap. It is now aching before bedtime and these past 2 days both my groin and arm ache seem a bit swollen and are tender all day, even after napping. I am a PE teacher and cannot see my Dr. until November 14.   Do you think I should go to another Dr in the meantime? I seem to need to nap at lunch, after school and again after supper. I am concerned as although my arm and groin have ached for years on and off, it is usually only once a week but now seems worse.  I have many other joint muscle pains but right now I am beginning to be concerned as yesterday I could barely make it through the day.  I actually fell asleep talking to my friend on the phone and I am dragging today and my whole arm is aching and groin!  What should I do?

I am waiting to go to the Dr.  Tuesday because after sleeping most of yeresterday the lymph nodes swelling went down and just under my arm continues to ache.  However, I now need another nap as there is swelling and aching in my groin now.  I also have a pain at the right side of my navel.  Does anyone out there know if there are lymph nodes there?  This happened last week when I was tired also and after a nap the pain subsided.  I am not sure of lymph node locations.  Thanks.

Thank-you, I called and got an appointment with another Dr. at my Dr.'s office for Tuesday but I am thinking I maybe shouldn't wait.  I just woke up from an hours nap and usually that takes care of the aching but it seems worse and my groin area is quite swollen.  The ER in Canada means a long wait so I may try one more nap, am really tired but that is not unusual.  I have had the tiredness for years and lymph aches on and off but this is worse.  Thank-you again for responding.

Yes, If it were me I would go to an urgent clinic to see if maybe I needed to be on antibiotics. Your lymph nodes sound like they are fighting off an infection. This is their job and if they are sore it is a sign of infection. If it is getting worse I would not wait to see your regular doctor.
