Mid back ache and heartburn

by angelJoy, Oct 17, 2006 12:00AM
For several weeks I have been having a dull ache below my lungs but above my kidneys in my back, left side.  I seem to wake up in the night with it and heartburn.  When I wake up in the morning it aches but subsides once I get up and about.  Does anyone know what may be located there?  Is there a connection with the heartburn?
