Migraines and fainting...

For the last few months, i have been waking up with headaches right behind my eyes, didnt think much of it, i thought maybe i was sleeping funny....
but for the last month, they seem to have gotten worse, i have passed out twice, and another time i would have fainted if i hadnt been laying down, im constantley dizzy and dissorientated, headaches have now become migraines and i have them all day, it feels like my head is gonna pop if i bend over, sneeze, cough or stand up.
On top of that, i have trouble consentrating, my speaking is slurred, and have trouble pronoucing sentences, and often forget what im about to say, and my memory has become terrible. i also sometimes see black blurred shapes in the corner of my eyes.
Another thing i have noticed is that i have a small lump under my left eye lid, it isnt red or sore, so i know it isnt a stye, plus ive had it for about 2 months now.
if anyone could perhaps give me a piece of mind or help to what may be going on??

Its weird that you mentioned Adrenal Insufficiency, as my mother has Addison's Diseases, was diagnosed about 2 years ago, i tell her about my random symptoms, some come and go, but some stick......she says it sounds exactly what she was suffering from before she was diagnosed.

I would go to the docters and describe every bit of what is going on with you cuase that my be the first signs of a brain toumer or somthing even worse then that and better yet i would go to the ER instead because you let it go on for a little to long fainting is never a good thing!!!!!!!!!!!!

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi
Welcome to the MedHelp forum!
Poor sleep patterns like sleep apnea, restless sleep can trigger a headache in the mornings. You could also be having ‘benign intracranial hypertension’ (BIH). This happens due to impaired CSF absorption. A generalized throbbing headache worst felt in the morning and last thing at night. This headache is generally relieved on standing (consistent with raised intracranial pressure). It is aggravated by straining, coughing or a change in position. This headache is accompanied by various neurological symptoms such as dizziness, numbness, loss of vision, loss of hearing etc, all of which are temporary. Hypothyroidism, hypoparathyroidism, adrenal insufficiency are a few things I would recommend you get investigated for. These can precipitate BIH. A spinal tap is a must both to diagnose the condition and to treat it.
Sinusitis is another cause of morning headaches. It could also be cluster headache, migraine, or tension headache. Sometimes migraines do not have triggers. Please consult a neurologist.
Please consult your PCP for primary examination followed by proper referral. Take care!
