Months and months of hiccups

This is going to sound so weird - I barely believe it myself - but about 9 or 10 months ago, I started hiccuping and haven't stopped since. It's not chronic hiccups, because those are just a constant case of the hiccups. Instead, about 7 or 8 times a day at least I let out one or two hiccups -- sometimes they're loud and feel good, like a release, and other times they just flat out HURT. The past few days they've gotten slightly worse in number, with me hiccuping a bit more than normal.

Has anyone ever experienced this or known someone who has? What will make it stop??!

just curious, have your hiccups gone away yet?  Did you ever find out what caused it?

I have heard of it and you need to let your doctor know, it could be something with your heartbeat.

an overabundance of caffeine in your system can give you hiccups.
That's all the info I have.
