As I have posted on here earlier, I have been really sick for about a year with a multitude of symptoms. The doctors have been doing all kinds of tests, but I think that because they can't find anything, they are beginning to not believe me. My jaw has been numb for about 6 months. It doesn't tingle, it gets actually numb, and it goes down my neck. It isn't like this all the time, but if I get stressed, or if I'm tired, or even if I lift anything, my jaw goes completely numb.
I've asked and asked my doctor about this, and he simply says he doesn't know what could cause it. Finally, the last time I was there, I asked again, and he said that he "certainly didn't think it warranted a visit to the neurologist!" I asked him, since he doesn't have a clue what it is, just WHAT DOES IT WARRANT???
I don't know what to think about this, I don't really know what to do about it or where to go from here. Anybody have any ideas? I would really appreciate it. It doesn't hurt, it is just extremely uncomfortable.
