If this screaming is more like loud buzzing noise then you could look up out of body experience for me it was very unpleasant because I did not know what it was too, I was much older. Eventually it stopped butt it helped me to accept it as a position e thing.
I have experienced similar sensations, as the comment above mentioned, similar to a "out of body Experience". From My childhood up until now.
Frequent sleep paralysys combined sometimes to a loud buzzing sound.
Absolutely do not take the Child to a shrink. There is nothing wrong in His mind. These type of phenomena happen to a lot of people and are still largely a mystery. It might be a neurological issue or even paranormal.
I don't think it's anything doctors can help with anyways. Just comfort your Child, tell him that many other people experienced his issue and it's not his fault or anything he can't live with. He'll be just fine. Ciao.
Hello~This is going to sound bizarre, but, I suggest taking him to see a chiropractor. Believe it or not, some of these issues can be due to misplaced vertebrae in the neck, if this is the case, a few adjustments should help him a great deal. (He/she will take x-rays first to determine the exact area that is needing attention)
Also, I would consider seeing a neurologist, this could be a type of epilepsy seizure, again, sometimes chiropractic adjustments can help with that as well.
It is likely something which he will eventually grow out in the future.
Look into Alice in Wonderland Syndrome.
He may have an Auditory variant of this.
Being very tired, having stressful events, experiencing
episodes of anxiety, etc. may also be factors/triggers.
Abnormal blood flow in the primary auditory cortex of the brain, due to irregular electrical activity (look into Temporal lobe epilepsy) , may be an underlying causative factor.
One exceptionally safe and easy approach to regulate electrical activity in the brain, is by reducing the supply of
glucose as the main fuel for the brain, which often has some pro-inflammatory effects and substituting with ketones from a predominately rich in medium chain fats diet , like coconut oil. Coconut oil is preferred because it is easily available,
inexpensive and has the following medicinal properties:
Anti-inflammatory, anti-viral, anti-microbial, anti-parasitic and anti-fungal.
Increasing gradually the consumption of coconut oil, starting at 1 Tablespoon daily, while reducing carbs, specially simple carbs form cereals, white bread, sweets, sodas etc, to a therapeutic level of 4-5 T daily of organic virgin coconut oil
would be a recommended trial.
In more extreme cases and conditions, a true ketogenic diet
( 60-80% of calories from medium chain fatty acids) would be necessary.
If you are planning to see a doctor, my opinion is to see a
Psychiatric-Neurologist.
I hope this helps.
Best wishes,
Niko
