My tongue is swollen, sore, white & red patches, Raised edges, & deep fisures.

I have had this issue for about 4-5 months now.  My tongue is extremely sensitive to spicy and roughly textured foods.  My mouth seems both dry and wet at the same time.  Went to the Dr. she said it wasn't thrush, but it could be autoimmune, Sjogren's Syndrome, but that test came back negative.  She's sending me to a rheumatologist, but I fear it's just because she doesn't know what it is either.  I also was tested for HIV, negative.  I started taking a multi-vitamin and 3000iu B12, thinking it might be Burning Mouth Syndrome, but it still the same.  I am at a loss... Can a person have eczema on the tongue?  Any help would be appreciated.

Hello~Your symptoms sound exactly like a vitamin B deficiency. I would start taking a very high potency B complex, also, start taking Brewers Yeast, this is loaded with B vitamins as well. You can sprinkle it on most foods and it tastes wonderful, especially over popcorn.
