Need Answers Quick

I have had severe fatigue, my face and neck turn very red and get very hot and lately I have nausea.   I have been to 3 doctors and now I am on a CPAP which hasn't helped the fatigue at all.   For 2 months my red blood cells were very high but seem to have levelled out.   The fatigue I have is debilitating, I don't sleep but have to lay down I am so tired.    My friends and family often ask me if I am okay, we will be sitting around and my face gets beet red and my ears burn.    This is very puzzling to the doctors also as they have no answers.   I am currently bein checked for pituitary gland, kidney and hormones.

If you are going to get some testing done, I encourage you to get a screen done for iron at same time, this is not a routine blood panel, and in the early stages of iron overload, you can get those types of symptoms. I have the same thing, I have those same symptoms, flushing and burning cheeks and ears, especially when I drink...I don`t drink anymore now I found out I am iron loading, I caught it early which is great, but my husband found out as well, and he has permanent damage from iron overload. He has genetic mutation that causes him to store excess iron, called hemochromatosis...it is more common than people realize, and it is good to rule this out. Iron is a common source of health issues, and root cause of common ailments, organ failure, neurological disorders, fatigue, depression, etc...also not enough iron due to other systemic disease and disorders causes lots of health issues, so you should get it checked. The tests that measure iron storage in the body are ferritin, tranferrin saturation %, TIBC, and serum iron...

take care...

Im so sorry to hear your going through this. I wish I could help, but I to am going through extreme fatigue. You may have the doc test you for hypothyroidism. Also I have heard Fibromyalgia can cause some pretty weird syptoms. Sounds like a hormone problem to me, but Im certainly not a doctor. I hope you are able to find out whats going on and get to feeling better soon. Wishing you the best of luck.
