Needing some HELP!! Did anyone ever have this?

Has anyone ever had any inflammation of the pelvic bone?? I've been having pelvic pain for the last two months that is radiating into my vagina...at the worst it feels like someone is stabbing me up there with a hot poker...not fun! Anyway i went to a gyno today thinking i had a uterus infection (gave birth via csection 5 months ago)...she told me everything is fine with my uterus but when she did an internal and pressed on my pelvic bone i just about lifted off the bed i was in so much pain. She said it appears to be very imflamed.  Does anyone know what would cause this and if it would cause the symptoms i've been having? She said there really wasn't much i could do other then take anti inflammatories and maybe see a pyshio clinic.  There must be something causing the inflammation though wouldn't you think?? Of course my mind wanders to infection or bone cancer...i'm just so tired of dealing with this..would love to hear from someone who may have had the same symptoms or have had inflammation in the pelvic bones

Do you know if you'd have a temperature or an elevated white count with a pelvic bone infection?? I had a csection 5 months ago..is that a risk for it??

Thanks in advance for all the info

Hi! Yes, it is possible for the pelvic bone to get inflamed due to infection, trauma (as in child birth), poor posture, repeated injury to the pelvic bone from inside due to poor gait, faulty foot wear, or due to muscle weakness. You need to consult a sports injury specialist or orthopedic specialist. Take care!

She said my pelvic bone is really inflammed and it hurt alot when she pressed on it while doing a pelvic so she knowns it's that causing the pain. My question is could it be infected? What else would make it inflammed?

Hi
Welcome to the MedHelp forum!
The pain in vaginal region can also be due to Pudendal nerve entrapment (PNE) in which the pudendal nerve (located in the pelvis) is entrapped or compressed. Pain is worsened by sitting, and there is a sense of a foreign object (constant urge to urinate) in the urethra. Diagnosis is by diagnostic block, MRI, CT scan, and Pudendal Nerve Motor Latency Test (PNMLT). It is very difficult to diagnose on net. Please discuss this with your gynecologist and if possible seek another opinion. Hope this helps. Take care!
