Neurological testing and scared of results

I have tried to post on the Neurology Forum, but to no avail.  I have just had an MRI of brain and cervical spine.  C5 lit up on test.  My neurologist wants me to have CTSCAN and bone scan right away.  Can somone tell me what possible things may show up on these 2 tests that wouldn't show up on MRI?  I'm a bit nervous.  Would a tumor show up on MRI?  What about cancer?  I think I am overreacting, but am scared.

My tests showed bone tumor in neck.  It is benign, but is the type that should be biopsied. I also have lesion in brain which will be followed up in 6 months with another MRI.  I am a little scared about the bone tumor because of all of my other symptoms and am following up with doc. next week about treatment.

I had CTSCAN and bone scan yesterday.  The bone scan technician said that "they" were very concerned about C-spine and did some in-depth testing on that area.  Before I left I was so nervous and scared I asked her what the radiologist said about the Bone scan results, and she said they came out normal.  So, I don't know the results of the CTSCAN yet, but I'm pretty sure it's not anything serious.  I remember the neurologist saying it may be a hemangioma.  From what I understand, this is not something to worry about.  It's good that I don't have cancer, but at the same time, I still don't have any answers about all of my symptoms.  I see the neurologist today to discuss next plan.  I will keep you posted.
