New house=ITCHING!!!!

We moved into a rental house and within 24 hours our dog, who has never had fleas, started itching. At first I thought it was stress from the move, then my husband started with a rash. Within 2 weeks I had started with the rash, then my three teens. My husband and children have suffered from sinus issues since we have lived here, my youngest has had bronchitis. My husband was put on a medrol dose pack and his rash went away and within 48 + hours of finishing the dose pack the itching started back. This is driving me insane and I am concerned that there is mold in our house!! Can anyone help???!!!!

Also make sure there are no airborne mold spores, which are very common allergens and  associated with many health issues.

There are mold testing kits you can purchase, however, in the interim, you can take certain measures to lessen the effects.
Avoid conditions encouraging mold growth, by using heat, insulation and ventilation.
The easiest way of reducing moisture and humidity levels (which encourage the growth of mold) is by ventilating the house by opening  doors or windows.

Lampe Berger, is a product worth checking out. Burning it may neutralize
air borne pathogens, including mold spores and other offensive molecules.
Make sure, if you get one, that is  genuine-made in France- and not a cheap imitation, including the scented oil. You can also get unscented fuel.
Take extra time to read the instructions, so it works well for you and your family when you use it.
I own three! When I cook something like cabbage, or fish, Lampe Berger
comes to the..rescue. Odors get completely eliminated within 10 minutes!
It was first invented and used some 125 years ago to disinfect hospital rooms in Paris. Now sold all over the world.

Take care.

There is a pending court class action case against a company called "Lumber Liquidators" for importing plywood and lumber from China treated with formaldehyde and toxic chemicals that vaporize and exude with time and cause such symptoms. It is possible this is the cause of your problem.
