No one can tell me what is wrong

I have been feeling awful for the last 6 months.  It started with my lymph nodes feeling sore on both sides in my neck.  My doctor said she didn't feel anthying.  There are times when they are literally burning.  Nothing showed up in my bloodwork and she doesn't feel anything in my physical exam.  I feel like I have th flu.  I am achy.  I am draining and feel it through the sides of my neck.  She put me on allergy medicine but it hasn't helped.  She also tried an antibiotic but that hasn't done anything.  I feel like I have a sore lymph node under my arm, but it doesn't seem to be swollen.  I just found a small one at the base of my skull.  All my blood tests have come back okay.  She seems to think it is my allergies.  I didn't think allergies cause sore lymph nodes. I do have diabetes and high blood pressure.  I am not sure what to do next.

Have you been tested for mono. I had mono a couple of summers ago and it took 3 doctors visits to finally get my diagnosis right. mono can have a lasting effect but six months seems a little long. Just an idea :-)
