Not sure

Vmp
The past few weeks I have been having night sweats. They are not soaking at all- more like damp around my collar.

I did have a baby 3 months ago .

I also have a swollen lymph node on my neck near my hairline but I also have a serve dry scalp on that side as well

Should these night swear be a cause for concern?

I would have your hormone levels checked. It sounds like you might be low in estrogen and I think having a baby can cause hormones to fluctuate. The dry scalp fits with low estrogen and so do the night sweats, but I don't really know about the swollen lymph node. A lot of women suffer through these kind of symptoms but if you don't have to why do it? I'm on treatment for both estrogen and progesterone (I'm perimenopausal) and it helps tremendously. I use bioidentical estrogen which is much safer than the synthetic type.
I hope this helps. Enjoy motherhood~Debbie

Night sweats are a common occurrence in hormonal imbalance. This can be corrected by hormone replacement therapy. It can also be due to severe acidity with H pylori infection and gastric reflux, hypoglycemia, carcinoid syndromes, hyperthyroidism, and sleep disorders. Other causes include AIDS, cancer, infections in the body and side effect of certain drugs. At times cause cannot be found out.
Please consult your PCP for primary examination followed by proper referral.
Hope this helps. Take care!
