Nan needs to be re-evaluated w/ the height & see how she is using the walker. The problem is probably too much weight she's
putting on wristsWrist pain for balance/moving. She needs it just for the
support & not full body weight. She needs to flex-out her fingers & bend wrists up to stretch out tendons frequent. She's
getting the bent finger from a spasm that can freeze up if this
isn't ck'd. Sometimes a spongy ball to squeeze will excercise
& tone muscles for fingers. At end of day, try warm towels
around wrists few min. & then slowly bend wrists down. Shouldn't
be hunching over walker alot or the wrists can get damaged.
Make sure shoes/slippers are fit good so there's no chance of
her a tripping. Gd-luck.
