Okay where do I begin?

Okay in March 2005 I had a little baby girl.  My pregnancy was fine, fairly uneventful.  I had natural childbirth, and that went great.  Okay than the problems begin.  In May 2005 I have a small place on my right side of my face that appears just slightly swollen and feels different to touch.  I have cystic acne, but have never had any episodes in that area.  I have arthritis in my jaw on that same side that I just got diagnosed with.  It is just beside my nose and now runs in a line that is kind of red in color, feels like something is in there, but to no avail every SINGLE TEST IS FINE!  I have had MRIs, gland studies, thyroid scans, brain scans, spine scans, AHHHH!  It is painful and feels thick, but like something is there.  It runs in a line parallel to the right side of my nose.  It drives me nuts, feels like my face is puffed right out (even though barely noticeable, more noticeable inside my mouth).   Although most people say that can't see it or feel it.  I just want it to go away.  I would take dealing with TMJ and arthritis symptoms any day of the week.  I also have arthritis in my toes and finger joints.  I have been tested for rheumatoid arthritis (negative), seen a neurologist (fine), chiropractor, physical therapist, 2 ENTs, 2 dentists, one TMJ specialist, the list goes on.....Does anyone have a clue????  I have suggested scleroderma, but it is not characteristic of scleroderma according to every doctor, hasn't worsened in 1.5 years, and every doctor does not agree.  Please help.  I also am concerned that this is somehow autoimmune related.  I just was 7.5 wks pregnant and miscarried and I fear this is all related.  I am a nursing student (on medical leave due to all this), but I know I need to be an advocate for my own healthcare and I have been.  I am done research, requested tests, requested specialists, found probono care when insurance wouldn't cover it (at the time had medicaid now I have bluecross).  I am very involved.  I just want to finish school and have another beautiful baby and primarily be the best mom to the little one that I have.  Thank you.

wanted to add MS was ruled out, any cranal nerve disfunctions, no lesions anywhere, salivary glands functioning appropriately according to testing.  I am just stumped.

Look up "Limited Scleroderma". This is much slower to develop, and much less severe. There is also CREST which is a form of scleroderma. There are at least 80 autoimmune diseases to choose from. They can affect any of your body systems including organs, blood vessels and nerves.

I didn't have much time to post last night. What autoimmune or antibody tests have you had done? There are many. Check out this list:
http://www.uklupus.co.uk/tests.html
This is from the uk site for lupus, but there is a lot of relevant info for any rheumatologic autoimmune disease. Autoimmune diseases can make you more prone to miscarriage, but if you've only had one, it could have just been bad luck. You should be tested for Antiphospholipid Antibodies if you feel that an autoimmune problem could be the cause of your miscarriage. Autoimmune diseases are more common in women, and are thought to have possible hormonal triggers, so the fact that this all came about after having a baby is not unreasonable. Also check out:
http://www.sclero.org/
This is a scleroderma site, but there are tons of personal stories about individual patients, lots of good links, and info on other autoimmune disorders including mixed/overlap syndromes.
