This is getting scary, as I am noticing fat loss in my cheeks and legs, my wife is losing fat in her face and butt. We have tested negative for HIV. What could cause these symptoms? My adrenals are fine.

Hi
Welcome to the MedHelp forum!
First of all in your case adrenal gland function should be assessed by doing cortisol and ACTH. Then, thyroid and parathyroid gland problems should be looked at. All these can cause darkening of skin, hair loss and slow hair growth and eye problems. It can indirectly affect liver function too.
It is difficult to comment beyond this at this stage.  Please let me know if there is any thing else and do keep me posted. Take care!

Floating, yellowish stools.....too much fat in diet. remove all fats especially BUTTER. Dry eye, nausea, headache, muscle pain, itchy ears, skin discolor high triglyc,......reaction to certain food intakes, high on the list would be gluten and dairy . CHANGE your diet and experiment for yourself no one knows your body better. Eat all gluten free foods no dairy and low SUGAR and see what happens and how you start to feel in seven days.
