PET scan results are in

Just wanted to post the results for all that were concerned.  I took a while to get them.  They called to say that his chest, abdomin and torso were CLEAR.  I was thrilled and relieved.  She then went on to say....BUT...there is a area in his brain that has them concerned.  I remember the word calcification being said.  She said it could be normal but need to wait on the dr to determin the next step.  He called today to say he wants a MRI done asap.  I've tried to research on the internet but it keeps taking me to brain cancer sites.  I'm going to pick up a copy of the report tomorrow so I can see what it says for myself.

Hey peipaws,
So glad to hear that those spots were clear....that was my specific prayer.  Yes, be sure you get copies of all tests done and any reports regarding them.  I learned that from others here on the site and it has helped me to be more proactive in my health care.  Let us know what the report says, I am sure that there is someone here who can help interpret.  I will continue to keep you and your husband in my prayers.  keep in touch!
