PLATELETS COUNT

I DID MY BLOOD TEST. THE REPORT SHOWS
1) PLATELETS 458
2) TOTAL WBC 6.7
WHAT DOES IT INDICATE? PLEASE REPLY

Thanks for writing to the forum!
The platelet count is marginally on the higher side. The WBC count is normal. This has to be clinically co-related with your condition and symptoms. Platelet count is often increased in inflammatory conditions like rheumatoid arthritis. It is also increased in some bone marrow disorders like myeloproliferative disorders.
