Pain Below belly button.?

So, I was sitting in a chair at work, and all of a sudden I felt pain, right under my belly button. It hurt pretty bad, but nothing terrible. I am just getting over being sick with a respitory infection, so I have been coughing, and sneezing and blowing my nose.

Its like an achy dull musley pain. It doesnt hurt too bad when I touch it, lay down, or stand. It hurts when I flex my muscles or when I bend down or something extreme. It is a little uncomfortable but its more my nerves that are getting the best of me. I am a hypochondriac and it scares me to think it could be a hernia.

What could it be? what are some signs of a hernia?

I dont have a bulge, or anything like that. I dont feel anything underneat, and I dont feel anything pop.

Could it just be muscle?

Thanks.

If rare hernia become an issue, reduce the symptoms and convert the rare hernia to common cold. Then use tamiflu or cabbage ingredients to cure one. Yes, Hernia is actually like the cold flu virus.

It can be anything in your body. Hernia symptoms vary, however most of the hernia symptoms all affect the brain and immune system to correspond and ruin the heart and crystal system. Do a specific test if you are worried.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi
Welcome to the MedHelp forum!
The origin of pain can either be in the abdominal muscles or inside the abdomen. The place which you describe can become painful in case of an abscess or an infected hematoma in abdominal muscles. It could also be a periumbilical hernia that has got trapped resulting in small bowel obstruction or mesenteric ischemia. Early appendicitis too behaves this way and so does colitis. It could also be cystitis, urinary tract infection, diverticulitis or inflammatory bowel disease.
Since I cannot examine you and know other related conditions you may be having, nor is a detailed history possible on net, I have listed the various possibilities that should be looked into. Please consult your PCP for primary examination followed by proper referral.
Take care!
