Pain in rectal area!
Lastnight I woke up after a few hours of sleeping already and had very sharp pains in my rectal area, right around the bum hole sorta. I felt kinda gasy and had to have a bowel movement. But the pain was so bad that I could not allow for anything to come out. When the apin subsided for a minute I did have a bowel movement and it did not hurt when I did, but then after it started hurting again. I could not move. It hurt so bad that I was in tears and thinking of calling 911 to come and get me. I thought maybe it was hemrroids, but I talked to my mom and she said it did not sound like hemrroids to her. Does anyone know what this may be? Please help if you can. It is hard to get to a doctor with the hours I work, and because I am a single mom. I am not sexually active and have not been for like a year. Anyone with advice please help me. Thank you.

I've been studing this kind of thing in class. You could have kidney stones or something else. Probably should go to the doctor ASAP.

Hi try searching endometreoisis.  Not sure if I spelled it correclty.  but what you describe can have the same symptons.  Somehow scarring forms on uterus and fallopian tubes leading to plenty of pain in that area.  good luck.

Your symptoms sound exactly like mine. Anal Fissure
Seems to be cause by dry hard BMs.Do a search for it.

Make sure you don't eat anything that you know might
cause constipation. Eat lots of fiber and drink lots
of water. Don't eat anything like popcorn which doesn't
digest well or things with seeds.Try to stay away from
red meat. Get some Flax Seed Oil.

Keep some Witch Hazel handy and put some on a soft
cloth and apply to the area after a bowel movement, it
does help. Get some baby wipes with Aloe, don't get
Walgreen brand as they are rough. Don't flush wipes
down toilet. Sitting in the tub might help or just
aiming the shower head there helps.

I also got some Nupercainal for the pain.

Also, when you wipe, make sure to get it clean in there.
Try to relax when you have to go. Try to squat more than
sitting down on the toilet. When you feel the urge to go, go

Since this is just starting you should be able to
heal it faster by following this advice.

I have a cupboard full of things for hemmorhoids because
I didn't know about Anal Fissure until I had already
had it for about 3mos.

Believe me I feel your pain.

If it doesn't seem to get any better see a physician.

Thanks for all the idea guys. Appreciated. I am going to wait and see if it happens again, and if it does I am going to go to the doctor then. I never even thought of it being the things mentioned on here. Thanks a bunch.
