Vanilla, VV is more common then people think, look up the vaginismus groups on Yahoo (I mentioned this in earlier posts), there's hunreds of women with similar problems, vaginismus, and VV, they have tons of info. You have to join the group, but they're pretty good at approving within a day. They also talk about treatments like the bio-feedback. Don't give up!!!
THIS IS MY LAST RESORT. If anyone can give me an insight on what is wrong it will be greatly appreciated. I am 28, neaver been pregnant, never had woman organs removed from my body, never had any trauma in the vagina and haven't had that many sexual partners. Thought I would get that out of the way..
About 3months ago I began having pain on my left side of the vuvla during intercourse. If extremelly lubricated I feel no pain, or very little but if I am a little dry, it hurts. After intercourse I always notice blood when I wipe and all this time I thought it came from the vagina but it comes from a tear near the hymen, once again just on the left side, and this happens everytime after intercourse. My doctor said I have vulvar vestibulitis and I need to do physiotherapy (bio feedback). If I have vv, wont sex always be painful? Will I be able to insert a tampon with no pain at all? Will I be able to insert 2 fingers inside me with no pain at all? If anyone is suffering from similar symptoms PLEASE email me or please let me know if I was wronly diagnosed.
You need to see your OBGYN. I think I may know whats going on. Since you only have one ovary you might not be producing enough estrogen. Estrogen keeps the tissue within your vagial canal "strechy". All females have whats called rugi (sp?)which literally means wrinkles in the vaginal vault. When you don't have enough estrogen in your system. You start losing your wrinkles or elasticity. So when you have sex the friction literally causes "rug burn" which can cause bleeding. Good news is that its common and fixable with medication
Hi Sparky, I agree with who-is-this, an OBGYN would be best, have you seen your doctor who performed the hysterectomy? Also, you can look up "Vaginismus". It might explain your pain, but not the bleeding. vaginismus.com & yahoo's vaginismus groups have excellent information & support. Hope this helps some!
A doctor might be able to help you. Go see what's going on.
