About 5 years ago I started having pain around my ribcage. Then a couple years ago I noticed small movable lumps on my ribs that hurt. I've had chest x-rays and nothing ever shows up. My doctors don't know what it is. Does anyone have any ideas?
Welcome to the MedHelp forum!
The small moveable and pain causing lumps at your ribcage could be multiple neurofibromas. These are benign harmless swellings of nerve and connective tissue. If they are causing too much discomfort, they would need to be removed surgically.
Hope this helps. Do discuss this with your doctor. Please let me know if there is any thing else and do keep me posted. Take care!
