Painless vaginal ulcer

by pinkbaby, Jun 30, 2009 02:45PM
I have had a painless ulcer on my vagina for 4-5 months, its not inside.
I went to the doctor 2 months ago and she thought its a condyloma as i had warts  few years ago. I dont think it is that as it doesnt look like condyloma and its just one.Its pinkish and round. I still applied warticon but the ulcer is still there.Id say it has grown a little bit.
I was a bit scared thinking it could be syphilis or other STD.I got tested for most STD but not for syphilis. It was all clear. So just in case Ill do the test.
And also worried maybe its skin cancer squamous cell carcinoma :S
Also my menstrual cycle has changed. For years it was 21 days but now it has been 30 or more days for 4 months
Has anybody experienced that before?

Hi
Thanks for writing to the forum!
A painless vaginal ulcer can be a chancre sore, lymphoma granulum, syphilis, or a non healing ulcer. Apart from the tests for this also get tested for diabetes and hypothyroidism.
Please discuss this with your doctor. Please let me know if there is any thing else and do keep me posted. Take care!

Thanks for your reply.
I have had a look at the  pictures of syphils chancre but mine doesnt look similar to those. It was mor elike a wart.  Do you think it still can be syphilis?or condyloma?         Last time i had sex in dec and the bump appeared in march so it has been there for 4 months. Its getting smaller now. Ive tried to squeeze it but it seemed there was no mucous until couple of days ago i tried again and there was little secretion white yellow colored.
Ill get tested for syphilis next week

Hi
Thanks for the update!
Genital warts can occur even months after sex, hence the possibility cannot be ruled out. Please do not squeeze it of irritate it else it may become infected.
Please discuss this with your gynecologist. Please let me know if there is any thing else and do keep me posted. Take care!

I have had genital warts few years ago. I know they can come back as I have the virus in my body. But i got  just one bump which  really doesnt look like a wart, well it looks more like a wart than syphilis ulcer. And I know usually there would be more warts not just one.
Actully I just noticed its nearly gone, its not round anymore, its nearly flat. now it more looks like a bit like a  hair follicle infection or something like that...
I got my appointment with my gynecologist in a month time.
Thanks again.

Hey,
just to say my result for syphilis was negative.
My pump is nearly gone, its not raised anymore but still noticeable. I still wonder what could it be? Do warts leave a mark or scar after they r gone?
