Pancreatitis

I had my gallbladder removed over 3 years ago. I recently have had some severe pain at the "y" of my rib cage radiating to my back. I have suffered from much stress and constipation over the last 3+ weeks. After consuming a large cappuccino and a chocolate brownie I had sharp pains in my upper abdomen 4 days ago. I am making a doctors appointment tomorrow, but am very worried, considering I lost a cousin this summer to Pancreatic Cancer. Is there something that can be done holistically to aid my pancreas in functioning properly. I did not change my diet much after gallbladder surgery! Is the damage already done? I do not drink alcohol and I know that can be a contributing factor. Could all this pain result from severe constipation or possibly a blockage? My stools were very thin.
