Pcr Rna Qualitative Hiv Test after 12 days
Congratulations for your great work. Sharing advice taking it twice as it said. Well, I had a Hiv low risk exposure before 15 days. I slept with a csw (unknown status) and we had protected vaginal sex. I believe that the condom used properly and didn't break. Due to my anxiety I had a Pcr Rna Qualitative Hiv Test after 12 days of exposure. I have read that an Rna Pcr NAAT test is quite reliable (90%) after 12 days but I had a Pcr Rna Qualitative test (Real Time) instead. Is that kind of Rna test the same reliable as NAAT after 12 days or it has a different window period ?
