Pee won't come out

I can sense when I have to urinate, but when I sit to go, I have to push really hard.  I also have to push several times to make sure it is empty.  What could this be?

Hi
Welcome to the MedHelp forum!
There could be two possibilities. One is inflammation of the urethral glands in the part of urethra that runs through the penis (in males). A tingling burning sensation keeps on troubling and it is difficult to initiate urination. Treatment is by local application of antibiotic cream after retracting the foreskin and keeping good personal hygiene.
The other possibility is that something is obstructing the bladder neck like a stone, benign hypertrophy of prostate (in males), polyp, tumor etc. These will cause difficulty in initiating the urine stream and there will be burning if there is inflammation.
Maybe you could ask your urologist to look at these two things. Take care!

Could be problems with the  tube from the kidneys, you should see an urologist as soon as possible
