Pimple or spider bite?

This is almost as amusing as it is concerning.

I found a bump on my left butt cheek and due to the position it's very hard to see. It looks a little red but I can't tell if there's a "bulls-eye" appearance. So I'm not sure if it's a pimple or a spider bite.

It currently only hurts if I sit directly on it and I don't really have any itching. So how long should I wait before ruling out that it's a pimple? I don't want to get it checked out unless I need to, because it'd be a waste of money to get told "it's just a pimple."

Does it have a white head? Or is it just red and and looks irritated? If it has a white head try popping it.. It's probably going to hurt so just be aware. Or try taking a needle to it instead.. But if that doesn't help definitely draw a circle around where the red stops.. Give it a few days and if it grows outside of the circle then its a spider bite and need to get it checked out.

Make sure its not a tick. A pimple and spider bite would only take a few days to clear up

Show it to your Mom or best friend.   Take a picture of it with your camera so you can see it.   that's the only way I can see the lesions on my back!
