Hi
Welcome to the MedHelp forum!
Low neutrophil count is seen in first few days of influenza, mumps, rubella, typhoid, hepatitis, lupus, dialysis and spleen enlargement. So these need to be ruled out. Enlarged spleen is seen in anemia, leukemia, malaria, tuberculosis, lymphomas, hepatitis, cirrhosis etc. If you are in malaria prone area, then get this tested.
Chronic allergy to a pet dander, mold, dust, pollen etc could also be the cause.
Please discuss these possibilities with your PCP for primary examination followed by proper referral. Take care!
Check out your bedroom for hidden allergens. First steam the room . You can do this by boiling a kettle full of water with the lid off. Close all windows and doors whilst this is done then leave the room for a couple of hours. Any allergens in the air will then be taken by the steam and deposited down on the surfaces. Then spring clean madly. Take bedlinen and blankets out of the room wash and dry in the sun (if you can). Then before going to bed, both shower and wash your hair and put on clean nightwear. Now in the morning if you are feeling better then maybe it is an allergen or toxin. Don't forget to have some fun doing this. All the best!
Where do you live?? Are you currently residing in an environmently toxic area?
